Editor’s Note: You may have read the The Wife List. Below is one Hollywood executive’s ideal woman list. You may or may not disagree, but have you begun writing yours?
My ideal woman would have to be a Christian and love Jesus. It’s the number one most important factor in her DNA. Not just any denomination of Christianity, or Easter/Christmas churchgoer, or “Sunday Christian,” but she would be a fervent prayer warrior, a real mover and shaker in the spirit world. She would be full of his Spirit, and active or at least seeking spiritual gifts. She would be a nondenominational Christian who loves all people on Earth that she comes across, whether they be Christian, Atheist, Jewish, Muslim, Gay/Straight, etc. She will operate her life out of love, compassion and a general, overall, sweet nature and character.
She will come from a GREAT family and will get along with and cherish her parents and siblings. If not, she will deeply value and appreciate family in a way that would suggest she didn’t come from a troubled childhood or broken family. She will have no mommy or daddy issues, or if she had, she will have forgiven them by now and moved past it, and accepted and loved them where they’re at. She will want to have kids, possibly lots of kids. When the time comes, she will not give up her career, but if push came to shove, she would put her family before her career.
She will be a dreamer. She will believe anything is possible, and nothing that can’t be tackled, conquered, sought after, hoped for, worked hard for, and attained. She will have a career or profession that is beyond the ordinary, possibly even extraordinary. She will be HIGHLY passionate about her vocation, and won’t be limited to just one. Her passion will spill over into a cause, charity or ministry that she fights for and sacrifices for.
She will be a social butterfly. Someone who could command any room, confident and classy. She could be the life of the party, but will be just as comfortable NOT being the center of attention. She will look people in the eye when talking to them and not all around the room. She will have the gift of making people feel special. She will encourage, speak life, edify and build up those around her. She will give sage advice and be a VAULT of other’s secrets, not gossipy. She will have a witty and self-deprecating humor, but not sarcastic
She will love fashion, arts and crafts, decorating, gardening, home making. She will be absolutely beautiful to me.
